In this project we designed and delivered a trade show demonstrator of a Super Business Class seat against an extremely challenging timeline, complete with a functioning lie flat seat, sliding illuminated door, retractable and adjustable tray table and iPhone compatible touch screen IFE system.
The aim of the seat was to provide 1st Class comfort and features within a Business Class footprint. The success of our concept relied upon a unique lie flat seat configuration, which created a full length diagonal bed.
B/E Aerospace have patented this arrangement, together with two further design features relating to he deployment of the table and the IFE screen.
