Building on our previous experience of working closely with Westinghouse on the implementation of Platform Screen Door (PSD) systems in Singapore and Hong Kong, DCA supported Westinghouse again on the design and engineering of this bespoke modular PSD system for installation at several stations on London Underground’s Jubilee Line. The introduction of a PSD system on the Jubilee Line platforms was a first in the UK and set a precedent for improving passenger safety and comfort.
This award-winning system has been in service day in and day out since its installation in 1999, and with its clean, timeless design it continues to look fresh and contemporary, adding to the striking visual appearance of these underground stations.
