Concept demonstrators

An essential part of the product development cycle is the efficient exploration of solutions through the rapid development of concept demonstrators and prototypes. We have the tools and the flexibility to develop tangible demonstrators to explore and evolve the requirements early in the development process where the cost and complexity of change is at its lowest.

Prototypes are a great way to share the latest concepts with internal and external stakeholders during the early stages of development. Responding swiftly to stakeholder feedback ensures the product is continually developing in the right direction with potential risks identified early on, which makes for a smooth transition into future, more formal development stages.

Integrating software and hardware

Combining off-the-shelf development kits with prototype boards allows us to begin developing software on representative hardware as quickly as possible. The software and hardware designs are developed and cross-checked in tandem to ensure a smooth migration to the final hardware solution as it becomes available.

We can also call upon expertise from other in-house skill areas including user experience, human factors and mechanical engineering to provide a truly integrated approach to delivering persuasive multi-faceted products.

Taking things further

With a solid understanding of the right product from a concept demonstrator phase, we can switch gear and help develop a full production solution. Maintaining continuity in the project team and the development processes speeds up this transition into production.

Our multidisciplinary organisation means we are accustomed to dealing with the various complexities of a production solution such as designing for manufacture, creating production documentation, identifying potential commercial partners, and establishing production test methods.
