Staged development process
As part of your product development team, nobody understands your product and how it might interact with an app quite like us. We have a staged project framework through which we can support the development of a dedicated app to accompany your product. We can work alongside you and your selected third-party partners in any combination of these project stages, or we can manage the whole process for you.
Android and iOS
We have developed our own generic Bluetooth-enabled Android and iOS applications that give us a great starting point for any app project with connectivity requirements. These apps can be easily modified to provide a quick and simple Proof of Concept (PoC) demonstrator that works with your product.
We have learned from experience that developing apps for these two operating systems differ significantly. We are also keenly aware that the technical details of how various connectivity features are implemented in the app can impact on the design of the embedded software, so it’s never too early to consider how apps may play a part in your complete product solution.
Bluetooth library
We have created our own Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) library for Android based on our experience working with this technology over a number of years. This library allows us to speed up the development of Android Proof of Concept (PoC) apps and, crucially, to highlight any issues that may arise in the implementation of the embedded side of the protocol.
